To resolve this issue, delete the XML file for the user who is experiencing this issue. Once the user logs in to RWA again, the XML file will be re-created with the default look and feel of RWA Home Page.
If the server is running Small Business Server 2011 Standard Edtion, follow these steps:
1.) Browse to C:\Program Files\Windows Small Business Server\Data\RemoteAccessProfiles\
2.) Delete the XML file for the user who is experiencing this issue. The filename is based on the user GUID+username.settings
3.) Log off and log back to RWA. This will re-create the XML file for the user.
If the server is running Small Business Server 2011 Essentials, follow these steps:
1.) Browse to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Server\Data\SettingsProviderData\RemoteAccess\UserProfile\
2.) Delete the XML file for the user who is experiencing this issue.
3.) To identify the XML file associated with the user
i) Open index.xml in notepad.
ii) Search for the username and identify the string value associated with the user as shown in example below .
iii) Close Index.xml
4.) Locate and Delete the XML file named xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx.xml as identified from above example , from C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Server\Data\SettingsProviderData\RemoteAccess\UserProfile
5.) Log off and log back to RWA. This will re-create the XML file for the user.
